Privacy
This site is an independent project run by Max Baker in Quebec. Questions or requests: hello@savemyplan.ca.
When you upload a bill, it is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service, in the United States, to be read. This site doesn't save the bill. Anthropic handles the file under its own privacy policy and its own rules on how long it keeps data. We tell the AI to ignore names, addresses, phone numbers and account numbers.
The numbers from your bill stay in your browser to build your report. We don't save them.
The site runs on Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare Workers). Cloudflare, an American company, runs it in its data centres, usually the one closest to you, which may be in Canada, the United States or elsewhere, and it also blocks attacks.
If you ask us to contact you about switching, we keep your email, your province, your carrier and the saving we found. Nothing else. They are stored with Neon, a database service whose servers may be outside Canada. We use them only to contact you about switching.
Cloudflare and our protection against abuse briefly see your internet (IP) address. We don't store it with your answers.
To count finished reports, we store anonymous counts: your province and roughly how much you could save. Nothing that identifies you.
We never sell your information. We share it only with the services named on this page, to run the site.
